GYPSY MARKET MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL
In Cooperation with The City of Mineola
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2011 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

RULES & REGULATIONS
1.
VENDOR SPACE:Rental space is limited to a size of 10′x10′ and assigned by the Festival. Vendors must supply own tents, table, chairs, displays and
approved electrical cords, if applicable. All booths/displays must be in good taste for family viewing. The Festival reserves the right to
remove any vendor at any time without cause & refund the rental paid as liquidated damages.
2.
RENTAL:Vendor spaces, without electricity, are $40.00 each. Vendor spaces requiring electricity are $50.00 each. There is a limited number of
spaces with electricity and they are available on a first-come basis. Food Vendor spaces are $ 75.00 each, which includes electricity.
Water is not provided or available. Food Vendors may be required to display food permits or health certificates as required by the state of
Texas.
3.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:No refunds will be issued once payment is received. No cancellations or refunds apply in the event of rain or inclement weather. This
festival is a ‘rain or shine’ event.
4.
SET UP AND REMOVALVendors will be advised of their booth assignment upon checkin on October 8, 2011. Set up times are between 7:00am and 10:00am on
Saturday, October 8, 2011 after check-in at the entrance, which is located at the corner of Kilpatrick Street and N. Johnson Street,
downtown Mineola. All vendors must be ready for business by 10:00am and stay until the end of the festival at 5:00pm. Early
departure/break-down is not acceptable. All vendors must vacate the festival area no later than 7:00 p.m and are responsible for
removing any trash, garbage or unwanted debris from their rented booth space. Vehicle access for set-up and removal may be limited
due to festival parking. All electrical service will be disconnected by 7:00pm by the festival. For the security of your merchandise and
belongings, plan accordingly for your booth to be occupied at all times. The festival is not responsible for damage, theft or injury.
5.
RESTRICTIONSNo personal music, loud speakers, radios, instruments & other loud noises shall be permitted by vendors that would be disruptive to the
music festival after it starts. All tent weights, ropes, signs, etc. must be contained within the assigned booth space. Otherwise, vendors
must rent additional booths to accommodate their display. No vehicle, motorcycles, four-wheelers or golf carts will be allowed in the
festival area between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Vendors will not be allowed to sell any illegal items or merchandise with unsuitable content.
Violation of this restriction will result in eviction from the space and it at the discretion of the festival.
6.
COPYRIGHTS, TRADEMARKS AND FESTIVAL PRODUCTSSale of counterfeit or pirated goods in violation of copyright and trademark laws is prohibited. Souvenir merchandise bearing the name
or logo of Gypsy Market Music & Arts Festival is prohibited. Any vendor caught doing so will be evicted. Gypsy Market Music & Arts
Festival reserves the right to use photographs and/or videos of the festival for the purpose of promotions and advertising.

RENTAL AGREEMENTOnly completed Vendor Contracts accompanied by full payment will be accepted. Space rental and assignments are made on a first
come-first serve basis at the sole discretion of the festival. All rental agreements must be accompanied with payment in full. Vendors
are expected to stay the full length of the festival. Early departure will result in non-participation of future Gypsy Market Festivals.
Trading or assigning booth space is not permitted and may result in eviction. The Gypsy Market Music & Arts Festival, in cooperation with
The City of Mineola, is not responsible for accidents, damages, loss or injury of any kind. It is the vendor’s responsibility to read and
understand all rules and regulations provided..
9.
ACCEPTANCEExecution of a Vendor Contract and payment of the rental fee will represent acknowledgment and acceptance of the rules and
regulations for the Gypsy Market Music & Arts Festival. Vendor’s occupancy and use of the rental space shall be at the discretion of the
Gypsy Market Music & Arts Festival, who reserves the sole right and authority to control the festival being held for the use and benefit of
the festival.
