Hotdog Eating Contest 2010

Rules and Format:

• Each contestant starts with a plate of 5 hot dogs.
• Each hot dog is a bun and a wiener.
• More hot dogs will be given to each contestant as needed.
• The time period of the contest is 3 minutes.
• Each contestant gets a 2 quart bowl of water. This may be used to drink or to dip your hot dogs in.
• Only fully-eaten hot dogs will be counted.
• Regurgitation (throwing up) at any point during the contest or within a 30 second period after the contest will result in disqualification.
• Any questions of or interpretations of the rules or any aspect of the event will be decided by Gypsy Market staff and all such decisions are final.
• A consent form must be signed the day of the event. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian MUST be present to sign the consent form.
• A winner will be announced immediately after the contest and the trophy will be presented.
• It’s all about fun. Have fun.
