This event was created by merchants on North Johnson Street in Mineola, Texas in an effort to bring a family festival to downtown Mineola. The first event was a wild success on a “bare bones” budget. While growing the event, the planning committee is committed to preserving a few elements that they see as very important:

• A family-friendly atmosphere
• Plenty of entertainment for people of all ages
• Quality arts and crafts vendors (this is not a flea market)
• Quality food vendors with a wide variety of foods from far and wide
• Keeping the event free to the public
• Keeping parking plentiful and also free to the public
• Providing an array of live music using local musical talent as well as musicians from other areas of Texas
• Making this an overall enjoyable event for attendees, vendors, musicians and everyone else involved

In an era of times that require many of us to watch what we spend very closely, the Mineola Gypsy Market continues to strive for the very best event we can put together while keeping all elements as affordable as possible.
